PEMF...

PEMF stands for pulsed electromagnetic field therapy.

It's a form of electrical stimulation that is used in physical therapy - for humans and animals.

It's non-sensory and non-motor in that you don't really feel it happening and it doesn't make your muscles contract.

It works on a more cellular level to control inflammation and therefore reduces pain and swelling.

This, in turn, speeds up healing.

If it sounds to good to be true...turn to science for the facts!

PEMF has been clinically proven to be effective in both animal and human studies for decades.

Anything that is non-pharmaceutical, non-invasive, comfortable AND works should be promoted.

Some of the conditions it helps with (and this is, by no means, a conclusive list) include:
  • arthritis
  • wounds
  • post-operative conditions
  • pain
  • swelling
  • ligament sprains
  • cartilage injuries
  • fractures and other bone injuries
