I see a lot of people in the clinic that try and comfort their dogs when the dogs are anxious or show malbehaviors: petting, talking to them, etc. We want to soothe them but we end up reinforcing that behavior.
With traffic, it&#039;s hard to know if the &quot;stressor&quot; is the cars themselves, or the speed they whiz by, or the noise...
Some dogs have had good results with using a &quot;pack&quot; for walks around traffic.</description>

		<description>I have a dog who was and still is a bit stressed with traffic, I never realised that when he was younger I was probably making it worse.
although the problem is still noticeable even after behaviour modification with a dog trainer he is certainly a lot better but I really wished that when he was younger I knew how to sort the problem before it got to that stage :(</description>
